Neighborhood Voice
A local feed for the blocks around you. Say what's on your mind, and hear what your neighbors make of it. Someone posts "Water main work on Sophia Street all week, park on the far side," and it goes up on the feed for the people who park there, who can react, comment, and add what they know.
Opinions get counted here rather than argued. Echo the ones that ring true, pass on the ones that don't. Events live in the same feed, so the block party, the park cleanup, and Thursday table tennis all turn up before they happen.

Small handy jobs, done by the people next door. Woodwork, repairs, odd jobs. Post yours with the pay you're offering, like $24 an hour to rebuild a back fence, and neighbors looking for work can browse the board and pick it up.

- Your address stays yours. You share a neighborhood, never a street address.
- No ads. No data sales. No tracking. Your email signs you in. That's all it's for.
- Named to neighbors, anonymous to the world. Anything published outside the app carries no names.
- Verification without surveillance. One in-the-moment check. Coordinates are never stored.
- Report anything that doesn't belong. Reporting is one tap from every post, listing, event, and chat.
- Block a neighbor, both ways. Block someone and the two of you disappear from each other across Rise.

Rise ("Rise: Neighborhood Voice") is built and operated by People Ventures Inc., an independent British Columbia company in Metro Vancouver, Canada.
We're starting where we live: Vancouver, one local area at a time. The people closest to a problem are usually the last ones asked. Rise exists to change who gets heard.
On the web today, and coming soon to iPhone. We're opening Rise neighborhood by neighborhood, by invitation, so every square starts with people who actually live there.
