Rise is built around one loop: a resident speaks, the neighborhood weighs in, and the result comes back where everyone can see it.
Say it in your own words
Tap the mic and talk — about the crosswalk, the park, the late-night noise, the thing your street actually needs. It takes about a minute, and typing works just as well as talking.
Neighbors echo what rings true
Your statement is shared with the neighbors around you. When someone agrees, they echo it — so support is counted, not argued. No piling on, no dunking, no algorithmic outrage.

What a neighborhood says adds up into a clear, honest picture of where it stands — one that residents can share and the people who make decisions can actually use.
Built to be trusted
A neighborhood only speaks honestly on a platform that respects it. These aren't settings — they're how Rise is built.
- Rise doesn't know your address — only your neighborhood. You declare a local area, and that's all we store. Full street addresses are never kept.
- No ads. No data sales. No tracking. Your email is used to sign you in, and for nothing else.
- Neighbors see your name; the public doesn't. Signed-in neighbors see statements with the display name you chose. Anything published outside the app is anonymized.
- Verified residents, without surveillance. Verifying you live where you say happens in the moment — the check runs once and your coordinates are discarded, never stored.

Rise ("Rise: Neighborhood Voice") is built and operated by People Ventures Inc., an independent British Columbia company in Metro Vancouver, Canada.
We're starting where we live: Vancouver, a city of distinct neighborhoods — from Mount Pleasant to Kitsilano to Riley Park — where the people closest to a problem are usually the last ones asked about it. Rise exists to change who gets heard, one local area at a time.
Rise runs on the web today, installs to your phone as an app, and is on its way to the app stores.
